Hello you,

I'm glad you stopped by!

My name is Hanne. I was born in Halden, Norway in 1983, but I currently live in Copenhagen, Denmark. It's a small city with a big heart, and it inspires and challenges me every day, so I will probably be hanging around for quite a while.

I love people, photography and airplanes. I love new faces and new places. I love music, coinsidences and surprises. I love curiosity. And I love smiles from strangers and travelling without plans. And photography, you know, amazingly allows me to combine all of this!

I sometimes feel that being a freelance photographer is a secret shortcut to the life I've always dreamt of living. I get to meet so many people and see so many places. I get to learn so much about the world and the people living in it. And even if photographing someone or something doesn't always make me understand, it always makes me wonder. Makes me ask questions. And I guess thatīs all we can do, trying to figure out this chaotic, intense, beautiful, overwhelming, horrifying, fantastic, frustrating, wonderful world.
